Career
It is possible that he could be the same David de Keyser who continues to have a successful television and film career to this day, starring such films as ‘Diamonds are Forever’ (1971) and television works such as ‘The House of Elliot’ (1991) and ‘Island at War’ (2004).
David de Keyser was also a commentator, from 1960, for the Commonwealth and United States versions of the ‘news magazine’ British Calendar, later Calendar [1960-1969]. This series was made by British Movietonews Ltd on behalf of the Central Office of Information [COI].
He also was a commentator for the technicolor series Roundabout (1962-1974) which was made by Associated British Pathe and sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, including the first issue released in May 1962.
